People Talk: What was your favorite song in high school?
Diane Tarrant, El Dorado Hills: "'Rock Around the Clock' by Bill Haley & His Comets. (It was) a very very popular song at that time. (I remember) dancing around in my mother's kitchen to that 45 record until I wore it out and had to go buy another one."
Cheri Carruth, El Dorado Hills: "'Let's Twist Again' by Chubby Checker. I won a contest in college dancing to it."
David Tyburski, El Dorado Hills: "'The Wanderer' by Dion and the Belmonts. (I remember us as) young boys cruising on the weekends, looking for high school girls."
Caron Bishop, Folsom: "'Dammit' by Blink 182. (I remember) just driving around with my friends blasting it. It was in that movie 'Can't Hardly Wait.' In high school I loved that movie."
Jasmine Kurywczak, Folsom: "'Ignition (remix)' by R. Kelly. (I remember that from) Junior Prom. That definitely was a good memory. All the girls dancing in a circle 'cause that's what you do in high school."
