People Talk: What’s the most interesting thing you’ve found when cleaning up?
Asked at the El Dorado Hills Community Clean-up event held Saturday.

Stan Bastian, El Dorado Hills: "I grew up in a funeral home and had to clean the storage basement. I found a bunch of coffee-sized cans and I asked my Dad, 'What are these?' He said, 'Those are cremated remains not picked up by their relatives.'"

Wayne Lowery, El Dorado Hills: "When I moved here and started cleaning up my yard I found old ranch implements — horseshoes, hammer heads and hay hooks — in Fairchild Village."
Daniel Navarro, El Dorado Hills "When cleaning up I just get rid of old TVs, furniture and regular household items. I haven't found anything strange, not yet anyway."

Frank Sianez, El Dorado Hills "Nothing really interesting comes to mind. I did find a dead snake in the garage once."

Dennis O'Rourke, Cameron Park "While crawling around I found huge gourds under my house. They're not planted or anything; they're free-standing."
