David Allen, El Dorado Hills “I was surprised. He’s been very no-nonsense. I’€™m waiting for what’€™s next. As an educator. I hope there’™s no cuts to school funding.”

Jeri Wenger, El Dorado Hills “It’€™s great. That budget was a cowardly way for them to keep getting paid. The Republicans have no consideration for the people, and need to pass the tax extension. We’re looking at a $9.6 billion budget gap. The Democrats have made a good faith effort in their cuts. Its time for the Republicans to step up and stop hiding behind their biases.”

John Leichty, El Dorado Hills “€œIt is what it is. I’€™m not a Democrat, but I agree with Brown’€™s rejection. He only rejected about 10 percent of it, including the tax raises. He was smart to reject it. It would have wound up in court.”
