Ben Best, El Dorado Hills: “It was my older brother Aaron. Any time my parents weren’t watching he’d shove me or intimidate me in some way. At 15 things turned around. I’d gotten bigger than him and fought back. In hindsight the whole experience made me tough. We’re good friends today.”

I wanted to hide but my brother pushed me out there onto the lawn, where I proceeded to beat him up. I was the pride of the neighborhood after that.”
