Don Dean, El Dorado Hills: “The neighborhood bully was this kid named Mike. My brother told him I said I could beat him up, so he pounded on our door and called me out. I wanted to hide but my brother pushed me out there onto the lawn, where I proceeded to beat him up. I was the pride of the neighborhood after that.”

Jeremy Vaught, El Dorado Hills: “This neighbor kid Jeremy threatened to beat me up constantly. He wouldn’t leave me alone. He was probably five years older than me and I was afraid of him.”
Tony Bendana, El Dorado Hills: “Back in Nicaragua, when I was about 10, this boy used to pull my ears and punch me. I ran into him years later here in the states. I’d just gotten out of basic training and walked up to him and said ‘punch me now, you #$$%&*.’ He backed down.”
Gustava Trujillo, El Dorado Hills: “Growing up in Folsom this kid in my neighborhood used to torment my friend and I with a broomstick. He made us cry.”
