People Talk: What’s your favorite breakfast?

Carl Backers, El Dorado Hills: “Eggs over medium, hash browns and bacon. Biscuits and gravy is a close second. Mary’s Gold Miner Café in Folsom does it best.”

Leigh Brilliant, El Dorado Hills: “I’m a ham and egger. The best one? I had a good one at home the other day, then the next day it was not so good.”

Bob Patrick, El Dorado Hills: “Let’s have three eggs over easy, a hamburger steak and lumber jack potatoes from one of those waffle houses in the south … make it snappy.”

Reyna Rodriguez, El Dorado Hills: “I love breakfast cereal … Old fashioned Cheerios most days. Organic whole milk is best, but if I’m feeling particularly health conscious I go with 2 percent.”

Jim Swanson, Placerville: “I’m from the Midwest, so my favorite is not what I eat every day. I love bacon, eggs, sausage hash browns and toast. But I usually eat oatmeal or a protein bar.”
