Pollock Pines woman missing

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department has turned to the public for help in finding a local woman who was last seen on Sept. 23.

Sara Fawcett worked at the Placerville Wal-Mart and called in sick on Sept. 22. She was last heard from on on the morning of Sept. 23.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, Fawcett lives on her family’s property. After not returning home for several days, she was reported missing by her father.

Fawcett does not own a vehicle. All of her personal belongings, including her purse and cell phone, are reportedly at her home.

She is described as having light brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 120 pounds.

Those with information on Fawcett’s disappearance are asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at (530) 621-6600.
