Part of White Rock Road to close
Starting at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 31, White Rock Road between Scott Road and Placerville Road will be fully closed and remain closed over night.
The closure will impact all westbound and eastbound traffic, including vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles. The public is advised to avoid this area during closure hours as there will be significant impacts to all roadway users. Detours will be in place to guide motorists around the road closure area.
Sacramento County crews need to replace a culvert which crosses White Rock Road at Alder Creek. The roadway is expected to re-opened to the public at 3 p.m. Friday, April 1.
Sacramento County officials understand the challenges and inconvenience that commuters, residents, businesses, bicyclists and pedestrians will experience during the closure period and ask for the public’s patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project.
