Young students showed off their drawing skills and fire safety smarts, submitting excellent posters for the 2013 El Dorado Hills Fire Department Fire Prevention Poster Contest. This year’s theme was “Prevent Kitchen Fires.”

Contest winners Hailey Ronan, an Oak Meadow Elementary second-grader, and Aileen Choe, Silva Valley Elementary fourth-grader, recently received their awards ($50 Target gift cards) and their posters will be made into poster-size magnets displayed on department apparatus for the entire year.
