El Dorado Hills residents Bryan and Mary Hayes stand by their 1964 Cabriolet, which earned the People’s Choice Award at A Day in the hills, an event hosted by David Girard.

Thirty-five five Porsches of various models and ages were on display.

El Dorado Hills artist Joey Cattone painted the picture held by Mary. It tells the story of the Porsche’s restoration and includes a piece of his car body — a swiss cheese looking piece of rusted metal due.
