Students report suspicious truck near schools

Rolling Hills Middle School Principal Debbie Bowers sent a message to parents Thursday, warning them that someone might attempt to lure their children to a vehicle

“After the start of school this morning, two students at Brooks Elementary reported to the office that they had seen a light colored truck in the area of Platt Circle and Arches Way as they walked to school,” Bowers wrote.”The passenger had motioned to the students to come to the truck, but the students ignored the passenger and reported the incident immediately to the school office upon their arrival.”

El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
