El Dorado County registered voters should start checking their mailboxes for the June 5 Consolidated Presidential Primary Election Sample Ballot Pamphlet.
More than 36,000 pamphlets were recently mailed to polling place voters.
The sample ballot pamphlet provides voters with important information about items to be voted on this election. In addition, the voter’s polling place location is printed on the back cover.
Voters will receive a sample ballot pamphlet containing contests and information for the party they are registered with.
Permanent Vote by Mail voters or Mail Ballot Precinct voters (voters living in a precinct with fewer than 250 registered voters) will receive a Voter Information Pamphlet with their official ballot. Vote by mail packets will be mailed the week of May 7.
Voters assigned to polling places that would like to vote by mail may use the vote by mail ballot application form on the back of the sample ballot pamphlet to request a ballot be mailed to them. They may also opt to become a permanent vote by mail voter by checking the appropriate box.
