Folsom is laying off cops, but they’ve got the money to spend on violating the vehicle code with this frivolous use of lights and sirens? This is not “goodwill”, this is a poor use of tax dollars during a bad economy. If you want the police to generate good will, encourage them to behave like professionals, stop camping out behind remote, pointless stop signs or searching for people who are using their cell phones (while they meanwhile type on their MDT’s and operated a squad car radio (which requires more dexterity than holding a cell phone to your ear).
