Scouts honor

Boy Scouts William Austin (Vipers patrol), Austin Lindholm (Vipers patrol), Mason Lindholm (Thunderbirds patrol) and Garrett Underwood (Thunderbirds patrol), left to right, executed the Memorial Day Flag Remembrance Ceremony using the U.S. flag located a the El Dorado Hills Blue Shield campus.

Promptly at 8 a.m. on Memorial Day 2011 the Scouts with BSA Troop 454 of El Dorado Hills lowered the U.S. flag to half-mast. At noon on same day, they returned and raised the flag back into position. Adult leaders seen in the background through the weeds are, left to right, Paul Austin, TJ Hansen-Smith and Chris Lindholm.
