Three generations of Selland gathered in El Dorado Hills over the weekend for the opening of Selland’s Market Café in Town Center. Chef and front-man Randal Selland, center, presided over a three-day VIP soft opening, with lots of help from his family, including daughter-in-law and marketing manager Gina Nelson, left, grandson Owen Nelson and partner and step-son Josh Nelson, right. Not pictured, but equally critical to the enterprise are Selland’s wife, chef Nancy Zimmer, and their daughter and partner Tamara Baker. The El Dorado Hills café is the family’€™s fourth restaurant in the area, and the first outside Sacramento.
