Slip on those skates and show off your triple axles at Historic Folsom’s Sutter Street ice skating rink.

Sunshine melted some ice on opening day —Friday, Nov. 5 — but that didn’t stop a few ice skaters from making a loop or two. The rink will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Jan. 17 (open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day; closed Christmas Day).

Cost (two-hour session):
Adults —$8.50, plus $2 for skate rental
Children 12 and younger — $5.50, plus $2 for skate rental
Seniors 62 and older —  $5.50, plus $2 for skate rental

Mondays are Folsom Chamber Discount Card nights. Purchase a chamber discount card and enjoy a 2-for-1 skating discount. Discount Not valid Nov. 22, Dec. 20 and Dec. 27. For parties of 10 or more, free skate rental comes with ticket purchase. Groups must reserve space on the ice by contacting the Folsom Chamber of Commerce at (916) 985-2698 and completing a group reservation form.
