Troop 454 celebrates 100th Eagle
Eagle Scout Matthew Wollert
Matthew Wollert has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout — the 100th for Troop 454 in El Dorado Hills.
He started his Boy Scout journey inTracy and then moved to El Dorado Hills, where he continued in Troop 454 under the command of Scout Master Elvis McCann. Matthew has held many positions where he was able to learn and grow with the troop, including assistant patrol leader, patrol leader, instructor, den chief, quartermaster, assistant senior patrol leader and senior patrol leader.
In 2013 he will join the staff at the Jamboree in West Virginia. Matthew said he thanks all his friends and mentors along the way who have had such an impact on what he has achieved.
