		<description><![CDATA[I used to be an HOA manager...several of my associations had wood shingle roofs. 
At one association an ember from a wood stove ignited a roof. Within minutes the whole roof had become engulfed. 
The fire marshall sadly shook his head when poking through the smoldering remnants of the house. A class a roof would have resisted the embers he told me. A week later the BOD allowed comp roofs. Shake roofs look nice but they&#039;ll burn your house down WHEN the fires come. 
Life safety first aesthetics second.]]></description>
