Woman dies in early morning rollover

By From page A1 | August 21, 2013

An El Dorado Hills woman died early Friday morning wreck, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Talia Ferris, 33, was driving her 1999 Ford Expedition southbound on El Dorado Hills Boulevard south of Olson Lane at about 3:13 a.m. when she “allowed her vehicle to drift off the right shoulder,” CHP Officer Quinn Cuthbertson said. She tried to correct by turning left, but instead lost control and rolled her vehicle.

Ferris was not wearing a seatbelt, Cuthbertson said, and was ejected from the vehicle. She sustained fatal injuries. El Dorado Hills Fire Department paramedics quickly responded from Station 85 just a few blocks away but pronounced Ferris dead at 3:27 a.m.

This is my daughter. She was too young to die. I want to know how the determination was made that she intentionally drifted. What exactly does that mean? Do you know where she was coming from? Do you know why she was driving that early in the morning? Do you have any evidence about anything other than speculation and irresponsible reporting?

Good questions as a parent I would be asking the same questions. Maybe her tires where old go look at tires and take photos. If she is out at 3:am I'm sure her husband would know why. It's sad and to short of life. My prayer for the family

Get a copy of the police report. Some of your questions may be answered there.
