127-year-old family Bible comes home

Richard Castile, 81, conjectures about how his grandfather’s 127-year-old family Bible ended up discarded as trash on the curb in an affluent San Francisco neighborhood more than 30 years ago. Former San Francisco sanitation worker Peter Ferraro, not pictured, saved the Bible from the landfill in the 1980s and later retired to El Dorado Hills.
