Get personal service you deserve from Stanford Mortgage
When a person is ready to purchase or refinance a home Village Life readers point them to one place — Stanford Mortgage.
Branch Manager Josh Mottashed and his staff — eight loan officers (including himself) and one processor — have earned the “Best Mortgage Company” designation and, Mottashed said he credits the staff’s attention to detail, knowledge and friendliness.
Stanford Mortgage opened in Town Center in May 2007. The company, which incorporated as The Real Estate Loan Center in 1982, also has locations in Cameron Park, Grass Valley, Chico, Roseville and Yuba City. It’s affiliated with Pinnacle Capital Mortgage and evolved into a mortgage banker in 2010.
“That allows us to have a little more flexibility … and the ability to close more quickly,” mortgage consultant Christi Shea said.
The staff is licensed to work all over California, but those in the El Dorado Hills office primarily work in El Dorado, Sacramento and Placer counties. They know the region well, Mottashed said, and use that information to help their clients.
Stanford Mortgage specializes in single-family and multi-family (up to four units) mortgages — purchase and refinance. Clients can also work with Stanford Mortgage on reverse mortgages, FHA/VA loans, “jumbo” loans and much more. In this new real estate market loan pre-approval is required before an offer can be made.
“We highly recommend you see your mortgage officer first, before you shop for a home,” Shea said.
At Stanford Mortgage clients will find loan officers who look out for the client’s best interest, she added, and that will save them money on purchases and refinance. Working with clients and Realtors on evenings and weekends is never out of the question and no client is treated like a number.
“We pay special attention to our clients,” Mottashed said. “We learn what their life’s about in the short-term and the long-term .. and that allows us to keep their best interest at heart.”
“When you purchase a home it’s such an important investment so why not deal with someone who gives that personal service?” Shea added.
The mortgage industry has gone through a lot over the past few years, Mottashed said. “But to have local support makes it worthwhile,” Shea chimed in.
Mottashed nodded and said Village Life readers deserve a big “thank you” for recognizing Stanford Mortgage. “We look forward to being voted the best again next year.”
