Best Coffee Shop: Bella Bru

Village Life photo by Noel Stack

When they need a caffeine jolt or a place to chat with friends over a latte, El Dorado Hills residents know exactly where to go.

For 17 years Bella Bru has served up delicious coffee creations made using organic coffee beans roasted by Java City “on the darker side” and brewed with filtered water, explained owner Liz Mishler. Add a great ambiance and unbeatable service and you have the Readers Choice winner for best coffee shop.

The independent, locally owned cafe has many regulars and, Mishler said, she appreciates everyone’s support. And if customers want something to munch on with that steamy or iced cup of joe, they can enjoy Bella Bru’s fresh-baked artisan bread and pastries or stay for an entire meal. Bella Bru serves breakfast, lunch and dinner – seven days a week.

Bella Bru is located at 3941 Park Drive, El Dorado Hills. For more information call (916) 933-5454 or visit bellabrucafe.com.
