Thinking hot dogs for lunch? Try The Ole Stand By, The Godfather or The Bomb at Ruffhaus Hot Dog Co.

For nearly three years, diners have enjoyed Chef Charles Knight’s gourmet hot dog creations at the Town Center eatery. He tops dogs with everything from chili to blackberry jam to sliced cherry peppers and has even started making his own sausage.

“We’re doing things with hot dogs that nobody else is doing,” Knight said.

Top that with a great staff, fried pickles and a family friendly environment … it’s no wonder Ruffhaus’ tables are packed during lunch (also open for breakfast and dinner). Knight said he really enjoys creating new dogs and meeting his satisfied customers.

“It’s been fun,” he said. “I really appreciate everyone’s support.”

Ruffhaus Hot Dog Co. is located at 4355 Town Center Blvd., Suite 114, El Dorado Hills. For more information call (916) 941-DOGS or visit ruffhaushotdogco.com.
