Owner Joelle Faulkner credits the staff at Froggie Frontier Preschool & Childcare as what sets them apart from other schools in the area. “Our teachers are experienced and kind. They hold college degrees and are all so warm with the children,” she said.

Parents also appreciate the program’s flexibility. They can choose which days work for their 3- to 6-year-olds, and have the additional childcare option that’s open until 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

Since 2009 Froggie Frontier has provided students with a 1:6 teacher to student ratio. And besides standard art and curriculum, children also learn Spanish and music.

Faulkner is a mother of two and a credentialed teacher, splitting her time between the preschool and job sharing a kindergarten teaching position at Silva Valley Elementary.  “I love helping students learn the skills they’ll need to be successful in kindergarten,” she said.

Froggie Frontier is located at 1001 Olson Lane in El Dorado Hills. For more information call (916) 933-3714 or visit froggiefrontier.com.
