Snowline Hospice operates six thrift stores in the area, including high traffic locations in Folsom, at 616 East Bidwell and in Cameron Park at Burke Junction. Proceeds support patients near end-of-life and their loved ones.

The system runs on volunteers and donations. Director of Retail Operations Ravel Buckley said Snowline’s philosophy is “never say ‘no’” to a donation, and to receive them “as graciously as possible.”

The stores reflect their communities, said Buckley. Most of the staff are volunteers, a total of 260 in total.

Snowline Hospice stores are located in Folsom, Cameron Park (two locations), Placerville (two locations) and Camino. Stores are open seven days a week.
