Reaching out to those in physical and spiritual need — that’s what the Rolling Hills congregation does best through its numerous local and international programs.

“Jesus cared for people in need so we care for people in need; it’s that simple,” said senior Pastor Bill Search. “We strive to follow the teaching and example of Jesus which means engagement with the poor is a non-negotiable. We love sharing God’s love with others.”

Rolling Hills members reach out to the needy in the community by collecting food for and hosting food distribution events each month.  In 2013 they collected more than 2,000 bags of groceries and fed almost 6,000 people. They also put together care packages for soldiers and makes dresses and backpacks for underprivileged children in the community as well as those met on global mission trips.

Internationally, church members have gone on mission trips to Haiti, Poland and Honduras. They also make an annual trip to Antochistas, Mexico. This Spring Break, 200 kids and 58 adults went down to build homes and a church campus. They also hosted a vacation bible school and held a soccer tournament for the community’s youth.

Rolling Hills Christian Church is located at 800 White Rock Road. For more information call (916) 939-3527 or visit rollhillchurch.com.
