El Dorado Hills residents love their pets and when Fifi or Fido fall under the weather or explore the neighborhood trash cans, their owners know exactly where to go — MarketPlace Veterinary Hospital.

“We have really educated people here who know what they’re doing,” said Tom Long, RVT.

The staff stays up to date on the latest treatments and techniques, ensuring that every pet that comes through the door receives quality, compassionate care. Open since 2002, the clinic’s staff treats dogs, cats, rabbits and small mammals (rats, mice, guinea pigs, etc.). Specialties include preventative care (vaccinations, annual tests, dental care), cardiology, dermatology, oncology, neurology and more. The staff also treats beloved older pets and offers surgical services, scheduled and emergency.

Should pet owners need to leave their furry friends for a while, MarketPlace offers boarding services and, as a medical facility, the staff provides necessary medical care and can ensure pets receive their medications.

Long said he and the rest of the staff are happy to be a part of the community and share a “Thank you for supporting MarketPlace Vet.”

MarketPlace Veterinary Hospital is located at 4564 Post St in El Dorado Hills Town Center. For more information call (916) 939-1705 or visit marketplacevet.com.
