Tails wag at Bark Avenue

Pampered pets know where to go when they want the royal treatment. Bark Avenue in El Dorado Hills Town Center has everything on the family dog’s and cat’s wishlists.

Squeaky toys – check. Healthy food – got it. Delicious treats – yum.

For five years the staff at Bark Avenue has helped two- and four-legged customers. In addition to pet supplies, the shop offers full-service grooming (with four expert groomers), a do-it-yourself doggy wash, puppy training classes and low-cost vaccinations. All these services leave customers smiling and wagging their tails.

“We listen to our customers and pay attention to the details,” said owner Robin Mizell, who owns Bark Avenue with her husband Ken. “It’s a really friendly place.”

The Mizells have made countless friends, furry and not. They remember the pets who scamper in by name, even remembering their preferred haircuts, Robin said.

Bark Avenue is located at 4311 Town Center Blvd. Suite 420, El Dorado Hills. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
