Club wrestlers take on Worlds

El Dorado Hills Club Wrestlers showed off their determined talents at the recent Reno Worlds national championship.

EDH wrestler Jared Horstman placed first in his weight category. After winning his first match by pin, Horstman followed up by tech falling his next two opponents, 16-0 and 16-0, to get into the finals where he defeated Clevelan Belton from Alaska, 7-4.

Other club wrestlers who placed at the three-day event were: Brandon Claiborne, 2nd place; Josh Ploke, 4th place; Ryan Redhair, 7th place; and Jackson Redhair, 6th place.
