FRESNO — Two El Dorado Hills Wrestling Club grapplers came home with medals after the Dave Schultz Kids Freestyle State Tournament at the Selland Arena earlier this month.

Kaden West (5-1) placed second in the intermediate division. His only loss was in the finals to Eli Pearson from Colinga. Scotty Moore (7-2) placed sixth in the Bantum division. The 5-year-old is the youngest wrestler in El Dorado Hills’ history to bring home a state medal.

Five El Dorado Hills Wrestling Club members competed in the tournament: Jack Santina, Mikey Mello, Ricky Eyman, Scotty Moore and Kaden West.

This week is the eighth annual El Dorado Hills Wrestling Camp with Elite College wrestlers and coaches: Barrett Abel, Trevor Machado-Ching, Andy Wagner, Beau Weiner, Michael Nakagawa and Cody Tow. Visit EDHsports.com for more info.
