EDH wrestlers’ success continues

El Dorado Hills Club Wrestlers competed at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in Vacaville Sunday, with several wrestlers going all the way to the top.

Feb. 16 results: Payton Gunter, 1st; Christian Pebley, 3rd; Jackson Ramos, 3rd; Kade Roeder, 1st.; Zane Roeder, 1st; Jake Lewallen, 2nd; Riley Lewallen, 2nd; Jackson Redhair, 1st; and Josiah Ramos, 3rd.

Saturday, wrestlers showed off their strength at the SpringView Varsity tournament in Rocklin.

Feb. 15 results: Shaiden Carr, 1st; Caleb Challen, 2nd; Dylan Fairchild, 2nd; Mikey Mello, 1st; Jackson Redhair, 1st; Connor King, 3rd; Jared Horstman, 1st; and Evan Bennett, 2nd.

Earlier in the month wrestlers traveled to Willows High School to compete in the NOR-CAL 12 & Under Wrestling Championships. The El Dorado Hills Wrestling Club places second as a team and three wrestlers —  Kaden West (130), Justin Hall (122) and Josiah Ramos (70) — received the Outstanding Wrestlers Awards.  Justin Hall won an award for fastest pin at 9 seconds.

Other EDH wrestlers who placed were: Christian Pebley, 4th; Kade Roeder, 3rd; Josiah Ramos, 1st; Justin Hall, 1st; Kaden West, 1st; Jake Lewallen, 2nd; Zane Roeder, 1st; Brodie Johnson, 3rd; Justin Lamson, 1st; and Dylan Humbird, 2nd.
