EDH Wrestling brings home championship

The El Dorado Hills Wrestling Club earned its first State Championship team title at the two-day championship tournament in Fresno last month.

Three EDH wrestlers took the championship titles in their respective divisions — Kaden West, Mike Mello and Scotty Moore.

The wrestling club competed against more than 200 other clubs from all over California.

Results: Hart Didriksen, 5th; Brodie Johnson, 4th; Josiah Ramos, 2nd; Zane Roeder, 2nd; Christian Pebley, 5th; Shaiden Carr, 5th; Kade Roeder, 3rd; Jackson Ramos, 3rd; Payton Gunter, 2nd; Gabriel Guzman, 4th; Jared Horstman, 2nd; Justin Hall, 4th; Matthew Ericson, 7th; Kai Schaefer, 6th; Riley Lewallen, 3rd; Jose Sanchez, 8th; Justin Ramos, 3rd.
