El Dorado Hills Soccer Club joins NorCal Premier Soccer League

The El Dorado Hills Soccer Club is expanding opportunities for its 2,000 players with its acceptance into the NorCal Premier Soccer League for the 2012 season. This new league affiliation provides the opportunity for highly competitive play throughout much of Northern California.

“Our club has been competitive in the highest division of our district, and with the addition of our NorCal membership, we look forward to playing top-caliber teams stretching from Sacramento to the Bay Area,” said Chris Hunt, president.

In conjunction with its membership with NorCal, the club has also reached an agreement with Joe Champion of Joe Champion Soccer to serve as director of Coaching. Joe will manage both recreational and competitive programs and assist with coaching curriculum and training. Champion is a USSF ‘B’ licensed coach.

“Joe Champion is a great addition to our community,” said Hunt. “He brings national coaching credentials as well as a background of years of playing in youth soccer academies in England.”

The El Dorado Hills Soccer Club offers four distinct levels of play for youth, ages 8 to 18: recreational play, competitive local play, competitive regional play and TOP Soccer (for special needs players).

For more than 28 years, the focus of the El Dorado Hills Soccer Club has been to develop, administer and promote an organized soccer program for the children of the greater El Dorado Hills community on a non-profit, volunteer basis.
