The Foothill 10U GOLD won the Galt Softball tournament this past weekend.
The girls had to battle the Sutter Butte Thunder Saturday to make it to the playoffs. On Sunday they beat the Stocktom Mayhems 7-3 to move on and play in the championship game where they faced the Roseville Thunder and won.
Great pitching by Brooke Niemic and Kevyn Freehill and great hitting by Mia Perez, Leah Poulson and Reagan Hunt brought the crowd to their feet. All the players contributed to the first-place finish.
