The Oak Ridge JV boys basketball team won the Trojan Toss-Up Tournament earlier this month in the new home gym.

In the first round the JV Trojans defeated El Dorado High School, 70-25, on Jan. 2 in a fast-paced game where everyone saw the floor.  The next game against Ponderosa High School on Jan. 3 also ended with a victory,50-41. On Jan. 4, Troy met Folsom in the championship game.  The Bulldogs took an early lead in the first quarter and were able to maintain it through the first half but Oak Ridge came back with vigor and outplayed Folsom in the second half.  The Trojans won it all, 45-43, and claimed the Toss-Up title.

On Jan. 8 the JV squad traveled to Del Campo High School and continued the winning streak, defeating the Cougars, 64-35 and boasting a 14-1 season record.
