JV water polo team wins Bear River tourney

Oak Ridge High School’s JV Lady Trojans water polo team proved they had skills in the water, taking first place at this past weekend’s Bear River Tournament.

“The team played exceptionally well,” said coach Julia Roos. “The wins were based on a complete team effort because all girls on the team scored at least one goal during the weekend tournament.”

The girls beat Oakmont, 13-1; Bear River, 7-2; El Dorado, 10-2; and Woodcreek, 15-3.
