Little League tourney comes to EDH

llogo

El Dorado Hills Little League is proud to announce it has been selected by District 54 to host its first All-Star Tournament for 9- and 10-year-old regional All-Stars.

The tournament will be held June 25 through July 10 at the prestigious Deputy Jeff Mitchell Field in El Dorado Hills and will feature teams from regional Little Leagues including El Dorado Hills, Ponderosa, Folsom American and National, Snowline and Gold Rush, among others. For those interested in attending the games or volunteering to assist the league in game preparations the schedule can be viewed online at cad54.org or the league can be contacted at egarcia.ciucci@gmail.com.

Deputy Jeff Mitchell Field is dedicated to the memory of Sacramento County sheriff’s deputy Jeff Mitchell, who was killed in the line of duty in 2006. The field was opened in 2009 with support from various community organizations and members, and the tournament promises to be a great time for all involved.
