Marble Valley falls to Sierra Ridge

The Marble Valley Mustangs rode six players all the way to last month’s championship game in the County Sports League conference tournament but came up short to Sierra Ridge 40-36 for the title.

As the No. 3 seed, the Mustangs, featuring Siera Rasmussen, Olivia Smith, Maeve Nave, Taylor Foster, Emilee Hoffman and Kassidy Lyons, defeated the No. 1 seed Herbert Green Middle School 37-26 in an exciting semi-final victory before falling to Sierra Ridge of Pollock Pines in a back-and-forth, action-packed championship game.
