The Rolling Hills Middle School wrestling team, known as the Warrior Factory, has achieved great success this season.

In the past two weekends the team took third at the Folsom Athletic League Championship Tournament and also placed third at the County Area Championship Tournament. The Folsom Athletic League Championship includes all middle school programs in El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park and Folsom. The County Area Championship Tournament includes programs from El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Cameron Park and the entire Western Slope of El Dorado County.

“What our team lacks in sheer numbers, we made up for in heart, hard work and strong fundamental skills,” said Head Coach Lawrence Divinagracia. “We’re competing against other programs with 50 or more wrestlers but our warriors proved that together they can overcome great odds. We have qualified eight wrestlers to the prestigious NorCal Regional Championship Tournament.”
