Soccer camp
Oak Ridge Boys Soccer Summer Camp will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 13-16 at Oak Ridge Stadium. The camp is open to eighth, ninth and 10th graders (based upon 2015-16 enrollment). Cost is $150 per camper (includes Oak Ridge soccer T-shirt). To register visit oakridgesoccer.com.

Monday Night Pick-Up League
Teams are formed each Monday night of these eight-week, pick-up style seasons. Fee is $20 for the entire season. Seasons run continuously until mid-October. All games are played at the Promontory Community Park adult softball field. For more specifics, call Frank at (916) 614-3223 or just show up on Monday nights (except holidays) beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Rockball Basketball Clinic
1st through 8th grade
This new clinic at the CSD gym provides the framework for new and experienced players to learn or build on existing skills and help elevate their game to the next level. Fun drills will teach basics; advanced skills sets are taught in small groups to enhance players’ ability to grasp and practice the techniques taught. Each age group will have its own time slot on July 11 (9 to 10:30 a.m. for 1st/2nd grades, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 3rd/4th grades, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for 5th/6th grades and 4 to 6 p.m. for 7th/8th grades). Fee is $50. Registration deadline is July 1.

Adult 5×5 Basketball
Teams play seven games followed by playoffs for the top four teams. Games are played at the CSD gym on Sunday evenings, July 12 through Aug. 30, with a team fee of $425. Championship shirts are awarded to playoff winners. Deadline to register is July 2 (or when full).

NFL Flag Football
2nd through 8th grade
Enjoy the game of football without the physical contact of the traditional sport. League focuses on fundamentals and improving individual and team skills in a competitive yet fun environment. Practices and games are held at the Promontory synthetic field, Aug. 17 through Nov. 7. Attendance at a player evaluation is required before teams are formed. Participants receive an official NFL Jersey, set of flags and a personalized award. Practices are one day a week beginning in August with games for eight weeks starting in September. League fee is $140 if registered before July 10 or $155 thereafter (space permitting).

EURO Soccer Camp
ages 5-15
This camp is led by professionally certified Scottish coaches who were players as well as teachers. This combination adds to their ability to motivate children. Instruction begins with fundamental skills and progresses to more advanced techniques and drills to make learning fun yet challenging. July 20-24 youth are invited to participate in the soccer camp or a goalie camp, teaching players how to play this specialized position. Participants must pick between the regular camp or the goalie camp as they cannot do both. Camps are held at the CSD fields on Harvard Way. Fee is $135 per camp. Registration deadline is July 10.

Pee Wee T-Ball
ages 3-6
Camp participants learn the fundamentals of baseball by learning how to throw, catch, run the bases and hit off a stationary “T”. This four-week camp meets on Thursdays, July 16 through Aug. 6, at the Promontory girls softball field. The fee of $60 includes a camp T-shirt, snack and gift card from a sponsoring vendor. Deadline to register is July 10 (or once maximum numbers reached).

Fall Youth Basketball
coed, 1st through 8th grade
The focus of this league is to learn the fundamentals of the sport in a fun yet competitive environment. Practices are once a week starting in August with games on Saturdays for eight weeks beginning in September. Attendance at a player evaluation is required before teams are formed. Hoop height is 10 feet for third grade and older but lowered to 8 feet for younger players. Grades may be combined to form teams and players receive uniform and personalized award. The season runs Aug. 24 through Oct. 31with games at the CSD gym or another local school. Registration fee is $140 if before the deadline of July 24 or $155 thereafter (pending availability).

Girls Volleyball
4th through 10th grade
This rapidly growing program offers girls the opportunity to learn and improve their volleyball skills in a fun yet competitive environment. Teams are formed base on grades (may be combined if needed) with practices and games one night a week each. Girls must attend an evaluation date prior to teams being formed. Games are held at the CSD gym with practices at local schools. The season runs Aug. 31 through Nov. 19. Registration is $140 if before the deadline of July 31 or $155 thereafter (space permitting).

Adult Softball
Select from multiple nights including Tuesday or Wednesday coed, Thursday or Friday Men’s Leagues. All games are played at the Promontory Community Park adult softball field. The fall season (eight-week season, $465) runs from late August to late October. Championship shirts are awarded to winning teams in each league. All leagues are limited to eight teams per night and registration will close once maximum numbers are reached. Registration deadlines in mid-August; call the registration desk for the specific details for the night you want to play.

Adult Flag Football
6 vs 6, pass only league
Teams play seven games followed by playoffs for the top four teams. Games are played on Sunday afternoons, Aug. 30 through Oct. 25, at the Promontory Community Park synthetic field. Team fee is $425 with playoff winners earning championship T-shirts. Registration deadline is Aug. 21.

High School Flag Football
9th through 12 grades
This newly offered league allows high school aged players the opportunity to continue their football craving. Teams are formed via a draft and play Aug. 30 through Oct. 25 on Sunday afternoons at the Promontory synthetic field. Call to be placed on the draft pool from where the teams will be formed. Team fee is $325 per team.

Adult open gym basketball
Drop in any Monday or Thursday evening at the CSD gym from 8:15 to 10 p.m. for pick-up games. Fee is $4 per visit or buy a five-visit punch card for $15.
