Last weekend the Sierra Valley Storm 11U Broncos showed their power as they defended their Northern California PONY Region title.

Sweeping the tournament in three games by a combined score of 50-9, the Storm 11U boys pounded out 46 hits, while only giving up eight. Pitching and defense were again solid, though overshadowed by the offensive explosion.

The Storm hope to continue with this momentum with a strong showing in this weekend’s West Zone championships and a chance to play in the PONY World Series in Chesterfield, Va.
