Trojans greet their fans

The second annual “Meet the Trojans” celebration Saturday featured the Junior Trojans Football and Cheer, the Oak Ridge High cheerleaders and the star of the show — the Oak Ridge football team.
Fans, parents and students gathered at Town Center in El Dorado Hills as the team kicked off the high school football season.
The event was held prior to the first practice Monday after school as Oak Ridge prepares for the upcoming season. Troy’s first game is Friday, Aug. 26, at home against neighboring Vista del Lago.
