Oak Ridge 0, Jesuit 1 — Marauder senior Logan James outdueled Trojan sophomore Austin Root and host Jesuit pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to win Tuesday’s Delta River League opener.

Oak Ridge 3, Jesuit 2 — Cody Uharriet’s sacrifice fly to plate Lance Berringer in the bottom of the seventh inning won Saturday’s first game of a doubleheader. Cody Morris hit a two-run home run and Alex Fitchett struck out eight to get the win.

Oak Ridge 3, Jesuit 6 — Alec de Watteville had a two-run double and Logan Mason an RBI single but the Trojans lost a 3-1 lead in Saturday’s second game.

Softball

Ponderosa 3, Oak Ridge 1 — The host Lady Bruins scored runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to win Tuesday’s makeup. For the Trojans, Jade Matsumoto had three hits and Lauren Bertoy homered. Both Ponderosa’s Paris Hallums and Oak Ridge’s Christina Arace spun five-hitters.
