Wrestlers have fun in the sun

Taking the California sunshine at its best, the El Dorado Hills Wrestling Club hosted an outdoor tournament Saturday, allowing wrestlers to compete in the fresh air and sunshine. The event included varsity, junior varsity, girls and novice wrestling matches.

Tournament results
1st place, varsity wrestlers: Mikey Mello, Kaden West, Christian Pebley and Justin Hall; JV wrestlers: Justin Ramos, Brody Deatherage, Brody Nigel, Reece Kopka, Josiah Ramos and Czarie Davis.

2nd place: Anthony Whiting, Keegan Deeds, Jake Stewart, Kenyen Middleton and Caleb Challen.

3rd place: Chaz Long, Caleb Humbird, Ethan Petree, Carter Patterson and George Gonzales.

4th place: Ryan Claiborne, Connor King, Brody Rudnicki, Jason Burt, Shaiden Carr, Kaden Middleton, Zane Roeder, Xander Davis, Bronson Burt, Kade Roeder, Jackson Ramos and Riece Pollard.

5th place: Jacob Wenham, Dylan Fairchild, Nolan Maier, Mason Burt, Chad Stewart and Zack Kuykendall

At the Bella Vista Winter Classic on Sunday, EDH wrestlers Jackson Redhair and Riley Lewallen both took third place in the respective weight classes.
