5 hurt in hay fire

Fire crews quickly extinguished a hay fire at Lee’s Feed and Western Store in Shingle Springs on June 22 but not before five people suffered injuries. Victims received medical aid for smoke inhalation and minor burns. About 450 hay bales, about $10,000 worth, were destroyed in the blaze and the business’ commercial building was also damaged. […]
