Habitat for Humanity needs your help

By March 14, 2011

Dear Friends of El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity,

First, we’d like to thank you for your continued support of our ongoing efforts to bring affordable housing to El Dorado County. We couldn’t do it without your help!

Second, it’s has become necessary to ask for volunteers. Although we’re not quite ready to begin building yet, there are other positions that need to be filled in order for our affiliation to continue to grow and meet the growing demands of operating our organization.

The following is a sampling of volunteer positions we would like to fill as soon as possible. The time commitment is whatever you can provide.

  • Data entry — An individual is needed to enter volunteer’s and donor’s information into our database.
  • Facebook management — An individual is needed to maintain our Facebook page, Linkedin account, and Twitter account.
  • Booth volunteer — Several individuals are needed to attend and staff numerous events where Habitat for Humanity will have a booth.  You can volunteer for as little as one hour.

If you are interested or know someone who may be interested in any of the above aforementioned positions please contact Candy Alexander, executive director, EDC Habitat for Humanity at [email protected] or call her at (530) 621-2111.

Again, we thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you soon at one of our many fundraising events this year.

Best Regards,

Candy Alexander
Executive Director
El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity
