Hands caught in the cookie jar

By From page A5 | March 29, 2017

We all know the phrase “getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar,” meaning you are guilty of doing something wrong and you can’t deny that fact.

Usually the child who gets caught with their hand in the cookie jar tries to justify the reaction with one of two scenarios — blame the other guy or justify using moral equivalency. That is what has happened to the Democratic Party after the devastating losses the incurred in the last election.

The DNC was caught red handed rigging the presidential primary for Hillary Clinton. DNC Chair Ms. Schultz stepped down in disgrace during the DNC convention. The replacement for Schultz, Ms. Brazile, has admitted to passing debate questions to Hillary Clinton and is unapologetic for her actions.

Furthermore, the House Intelligence Committee states that the Obama administration spied on the Trump administration before and during the transfer of power with the intelligence organizations breaking many different laws, including listing the names of Trump White house staff in transmission and listing President Trump’s conversations.

So to me it is clear that the DNC has been caught with their hand in the cookie jar and their reaction (blaming the Russians) afterward is as predictable as it is disgusting.
