Thank you for another successful year

By From page A5 | April 19, 2017

We are excited to announce that the 2017 Oak Ridge Sports Boosters Blue & Gold Event raised more than $106,000. Because of the generosity of supporters like you, this was the second highest grossing Blue & Gold Event in Oak Ridge history. Whether you attended, donated or volunteered, your continued commitment to Oak Ridge High School sports shined again and we can’t thank you enough for your contributions.

We would also like to acknowledge all of our community partners who helped bring this celebration together. To Ryan Skelly and his gracious team at Mercedes-Benz of El Dorado Hills, thank you for hosting our Night in the Hills Event at your incredible venue. Our sincere appreciation also goes out to all of our partner restaurants who donated to our first-rate menu: Aji, Milestone, 36 Handles, Ruffhaus, Nugget, Bella Bru, The Hidden Table and Moe’s Southwest Grill.

In addition, we would be remiss if we did not send huge congratulations to Tom Caruso, winner of the 2017 CLA 250 Coupe from Mercedes-Benz of El Dorado Hills. Tom is a resident of El Dorado Hills and attends Oak Ridge basketball and football games and Oak Ridge band events.

As the saying goes, it takes a village and the village, as they do year after year, came through once again. We are grateful for all of our supporters and thank each of YOU for making this event a profitable one for all 23 sports at Oak Ridge. With you, we continue to lead the way as a premier high school sports program across the region.

Go Trojans!
