Sutter’s Fort presents The Haunted Fort

By From page B3 | October 25, 2017

Friends of Sutter’s Fort, in partnership with California State Parks and B Street Theatre Company, present The Haunted Fort from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 27 & 28.

With an enhanced and family friendly format, guests will have the special opportunity to explore the dimly lit fort at night at their own pace, interact with knowledgeable docents in period attire (who will share scary, spooky and sometimes disturbing details of pioneer life in the 1800s), participate in fun and interactive stations set-up throughout the fort and also be entertained by a number of talented performers from B Street Theatre Company.

A new twist this year, a number of actors and actresses from B Street Theatre Company will perform short and spirited, Haunted Fort-themed vignettes several times each night in the fort’s Distillery room. Appropriate for all ages, the engaging performances last 10-15 minutes and are included with event admission.

“The Haunted Fort” tickets are limited and guests are asked to choose tickets based on which B Street Theatre Company performance time is desired. Event guests are welcome to explore the fort on a self-guided basis before or after their performance time anytime during the special event hours. Advance tickets cost $10 per adult and $5 for youth and children ages 5 to 17. To purchase advance tickets or to find out more information call (916) 323-7626 or visit suttersfort.org.
