Woman reports kidnapping, sexual assault; 2 men arrested

A woman who approached an employee of the Target store in El Dorado Hills late Friday evening told a harrowing story of being kidnapped and assaulted at a Cameron Park motel. Her reported ordeal resulted in the arrest within hours of two men who were taken to the El Dorado County Jail; charges lodged against one include kidnapping and rape while the other was taken into custody on a felony warrant out of Sacramento County.

Pursuits lead to EDH man’s arrest

An El Dorado Hills man ended up in jail after allegedly evading police on two separate incidents.

Folsom police detectives arrested Michael David Treece, 19, March 28 after reported pursuits on March 16 & 18.

On March 16 a Folsom police officer was working traffic enforcement along Empire Ranch Road when he saw a white Nissan 350Z speeding and intiated a traffic stop. The driver did not stop and sped away; after a short chase, the officer discontinued the pursuit for safety reasons.
